There are many important activities going on this month, especially the last week of school.  Please be sure to look at the calendar below for the dates and times of some of these events.  Some important additional items are explained below.

To make the last week of school special for the children we are going to do something EXTRA FUN each day.  Please let your child bring one of the following in on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
    Tuesday - Puzzle Day - Bring a puzzle or activity book 
    Wednesday - Game Day - Bring a board or card game 
                                                    (No video games)
    Thursday - Coloring/Activity Book - Bring a coloring or activity
                                                book

Thursday, May 17, from 11:00-12:00 is our class party in the middle courtyard behind the library.  You are welcome to come and join the fun.  It will be an outdoor party with all the other 1st grade classes. Each class is in charge of a station and classes will rotate around to each station.   Our class is doing the balloon toss station. 
After the party, we will be having a special lunch in the classroom provided by many parents.

Friday, May 18, for the last day of school, please remember to not send anything with students that needs to come home.  Please send any snacks and lunches in disposable containers.  Children will not be allowed to take anything home with them.

Fri. 5/11...Young Authors books go home
Wed. 5/16...Yearbooks go home
Thurs. 5/.17...Report Cards and PSC's go home,
                       (11:00-12:00) 1st Grade Party
Fri. 5/18...Last Day of School
